darcs's repo is the place, try something like that :

$ darcs get http://darcs.gephex.org/gephex/gephex--main--0.4
$ cd ./gephex--main--0.4/contrib/
$ svn checkout svn://svn.mplayerhq.hu/ffmpeg/trunk ffmpeg
$ cd ..
$ sh ./bootstrap.sh
$ ./configure
$ make
$ sudo make install
