I was inspired by Urs to write about what I've been doing with Gephex:

1. I developed a video scratching graph, which I control with a MIDI controller.
It's documented on http://wiki.gephex.org/VideoScratchingWithMIDI

2. I
developed a Processing sketch that gets the BPM from a tapping button and
sends it through a MIDI port to Gephex, where I use the BPM to affect frame
rate and various parameters. If anyone is interested in that, please ask and
I'll publish the code and documentation.
