yes, i searched a little the list archive to retreive the discussion 
about this some times ago but i don't find the post...
anyway for me it can be a good behaviour, more intelligent than the last...
but :

i think i've found the code in audioenergymodule.cpp i'll try to add a 
input to switch on/off the function,
